New Mexico Tech and the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (NMT/EMRTC) is a DHS/FEMA training partner that specializes in providing the emergency response community with federally certified training courses. These courses focus on preventing and responding to bombing incidents and addressing the criminal/terrorist use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
NMT/EMRTC First Responder Training is a founding member of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium, established over 20 years ago. The training programs are offered to state, local, tribal, and territorial government agencies at no-cost thanks to DHS/FEMA grants. The courses are available throughout the year at NMT/EMRTC Training facilities, which include a 40 sq mi field laboratory for explosive demonstrations, or across all states and territories.
Join over 600,000 dedicated first responders who have completed NMT/EMRTC First Responder Training Programs with the goal of safeguarding American communities.
