Scheduling an Authorized Course Delivery

NMT/EMRTC First Responder Training Authorized Instructors ready to deliver a course within their own agency/organization or jurisdiction should follow the process outlined below. It is important that all course deliveries follow this process to ensure that course participant data is accurately captured and reported to FEMA; this is a critical requirement for program success, continuity, and funding. Additionally, only those participants registered through this process will be recognized as NMT/EMRTC First Responder Training course graduates.

Please note that only certified Authorized Instructors may schedule course deliveries. Please contact response@emrtc.nmt.edu if you have questions regarding your instructor status.

Scheduling an Authorized Course Delivery

To schedule an Authorized course delivery, Authorized Instructors should:

  1. Complete the Authorized Course Delivery Request Form
    • This form will provide the NMT/EMRTC Training Scheduling POC with information on your upcoming course, including the location, date, and time of the delivery.
  2. Download the latest course materials.
    • Once the Authorized Course delivery request is reviewed and approved, the NMT/EMRTC Training Scheduling POC will contact the Authorized Instructor and provide a link to download a copy of the course material. It’s important for instructors to re-download the material each time a course delivery is scheduled; this step will ensure that any corrections made by NMT/EMRTC Training are reflected in the course material used by the Indirect Instructor.
  3. Conduct the Authorized Course Delivery as scheduled and collect participant data
    • Authorized Course Instructors are responsible for ensuring that each participant in their class complete the following:
      i. Electronic registration form for each participant in attendance.
ii. Electronic pre- and post-test for each participant in attendance.
iii. Electronic evaluation for each participant in attendance.
